HCMx Radio: Have You Gone Social With Your Learning?

Social learning and collaboration tools are gaining popularity and importance in Learning Management Systems (LMS). Brandon Hall Group’s latest Social and Collaborative Learning Study found that about 85% of companies are at least experimenting with social learning tools and techniques. And lack of satisfaction with social learning tools on their current LMS was the second biggest reason companies considered a replacement, according to our 2015 LMS Trends survey.

In our latest HCMx Radio show, Jodi Harrison the VP of Business Development from TOPYX®, offers JPEG-1400-Pixel-HCMx-Logoher point of view on why these tools are gaining popularity, tips to consider for getting started, examples of different types of tools and their use, and how to track usability effectively. We also discuss the importance of these tools and the increased business impact that companies have demonstrated.

There are still many challenges facing organizations that are trying to deploy social learning initiatives. Many companies tell us that part of their struggle in getting started is their concern about relinquishing control to the learners themselves and uncertainty about how to measure this type of learning. We are launching new research on this early next year and will let you know what we discover. In the meantime, join us for our interview with Jodi Harrison. You can download it anytime at the HCMx Radio site.
