Mining for Gold in Your LMS Data (eBook)

The LMS stands as the core technology platform for learning, with about 87% of companies using at least one. Yet, for all of the heavy lifting organizations expect their LMS to do, many are still challenged by the mountains of data their LMS generates, as shown below. By finding and analyzing the right data, companies gain broader insights into learning, from how learners are behaving to the impact programs are having. This is especially true in the extended enterprise, where it can be difficult to gain insight into external learning audiences. But Brandon Hall Group’s research found that few organizations are very mature when it comes to how they are measuring learning.

For many HR organizations, time is running out to decide upon a new path for technology. The challenges that HR organizations are facing in the current climate are staggering and it seems that technology will be the only way to combat these challenges. What is the best approach for an HR organization to move forward with evaluating and selecting technology? How can HR organizations traverse the ocean of providers in the market in an efficient and effective approach in order to find the right providers for them? Have technology requirements changed and to what degree? Most importantly, how do HR organizations evaluate a provider to ensure they are the right partner for today and tomorrow?

Partnering with Keysight Technologies, TrainingPros proves ability for learning and development innovation

ATLANTA (September 15, 2021) TrainingPros, a staffing agency that connects large organizations with specialized learning and development (L&D) contract professionals, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group Gold award for excellence in the Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Program category. TrainingPros’ win, working in conjunction with Keysight Technologies, was announced Aug. 19. The list of winners is posted online.

“We are honored to receive this award with our client, Keysight Technologies,” said TrainingPros President Leigh Anne Lankford. “It represents our firm’s best-in-class expertise at matching client needs with highly skilled, specialized consultants who work alongside our clients — in this case, to create an award-winning learning solution.”

Julie Hodack, the L&D professional assigned to Keysight Technologies by TrainingPros Relationship Manager Leigh Hurst, was tasked with the project of seamlessly converting a three-day new-leader development program from in-person to virtual.

“Keysight’s manager program exceeded the expectations of participants, providing significant learnings that helped instill greater confidence as they moved forward in the career at the company,” said Keysight Technologies Director of Manager Employee Development Nadine Frank. “The program combines highly active, live virtual sessions, integrated pathways for assignments, global networking and coaching, social learning, as well as a focus on personal case studies and development plans. Julie Hodack was a great partner who understood our goals and objectives, making the transition to the virtual program a success.”

“The 2021 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards provide much-needed and well-deserved recognition to organizations that went above and beyond to support their stakeholders during the unprecedented disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Brandon Hall Group COO and leader of the HCM Excellence Awards Program Rachel Cooke. “The awards provide validation of best practices in all areas of human capital management (HCM) at a time when they have never been more important to employers, employees and customers.”

Entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives based on these criteria: fit the needs, program design, functionality, innovation and overall measurable benefits.

Excellence Award winners are scheduled to be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference, Feb. 1-3, 2022, at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida. Select winners also will serve as presenters in breakout sessions, sharing their leading practices during the conference. [Update Feb. 1, 2022: the conference was canceled due to COVID reasons.]

“We added several awards categories this year to specifically address critical needs, including how organizations addressed the new dynamics of work and embedded the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in their HCM practices,” said Brandon Hall Group CEO Mike Cooke. “Winning organizations in all categories demonstrated a people-centric approach while driving superior business results under challenging and unprecedented conditions. Demonstrating HCM’s impact on the business is what sets our awards apart.”

CliK is just getting started, and we’re excited about what’s next; so stay tuned.”

“Technology has never been more critical for success in human capital management than it is today. We were thrilled to see many new innovations in all areas, but especially related to the future of work,” said Brandon Hall, Group Chief Operating Officer and awards program head Rachel Cooke. “Thanks to the many innovations from our Excellence in Technology winners, organizations have many compelling options as they make important decisions on how to leverage technology to drive their people strategies.” “HCM solution providers must be experts and visionaries in technology, but they also must have the ability to anticipate the diverse needs of employers as they work to adapt to ongoing change,” Brandon Hall Group CEO Mike Cooke said. “This requires a blend of curiosity, empathy and agility that is difficult to achieve. We have seen an extraordinary level of insight and creativity from our Excellence in Technology winners that has been exciting to see.”

Neuroscience-based social learning platform recognized for “Best Advance in Social Learning” and “Best Advance in Learning Management Technology”

Frisco, Texas, December 15, 2021.
